BJ Thomas Leads Marion Wrestlers to Victory

Sophomore co-captain BJ Thomas led the MMI wrestling team to victory at home, pinning his opponent in just 11 seconds.  He was named Outstanding Wrestler for the match, helping the Marion squad to the 45-14 win.  Other winners for the tigers from Marion were: Nick Villamil -125 lb. (forfeit), DeAndre Beck - 141 lb.  (7-4), Madrell  Kirby - 149 lb.  (forfeit), Mike Tracy - 165 lb. (fall), Joe Adams - 184 lb. (fall), Mike Olowolowo -197 lb. (forfeit), and John Long - HWT. (forfeit).

Marion will travel to Middle Tennessee State University for an open tournament Saturday November 7th.
