Shorthanded Tigers Fall to Sun Chiefs at Home
Marion, AL. - With two starters not in uniform the MMI Tigers couldn't overcome a 0-9 start to the game and lost their third straight ACCC game, this time to the Sun Chiefs of Coastal Alabama CC-South by a score of 89-111. The loss drops Marion to an 8-6 overall record, 3-4 in ACCC play.
Anthony Bryant scored 19 points to pace MMI. Quandre Burroughs (18), Eli Elston (13), and Myles McClain (12) each finished scoring double digits. Rounding out the scoring for the Tigers was Marselis Jones (8), Isaiah Green (8), Cameron Spain (6), and Aidan Driggers (5).
Marion will try to get back into the win column when they travel to Tuscaloosa, Alabama this Friday to face the Bucs of Shelton State CC. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
