Basketball Improves to 4-1
Marion, AL. - The MMI men's basketball team bounced back from their first loss Tuesday to defeat the junior varsity team from Point University Thursday evening by a score of 74-46. Marion held a 40 - 23 lead at halftime.
Christian Bradford led all scorers with 23 points. Quamauri Hardy, Michael Nobles, Miles Perdue, and Charles Tripp each contributed eight points for Marion. Dotson Griffin (6), Neiman Dunams (5), Tyquarious Arnold (4), Chase Garvin (2), and Ronnie Baylark (2) also scored, improving MMI's record to 4-1.
The Tigers will host Lurleen B. Wallace Community College Saturday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. in a re-match from November 3 which saw Marion win a close game on the road 65-63.
