Tigers Finish ESCC Series 1-3

Enterprise, Alabama – The MMI baseball team finished their four-game series with a 1-3 record. Marion will face Wallace CC-Selma this week in another ACCC four-game series.

Sophomore Jeremiah Navarro earned the sole win from the mound for the Tigers with Nicholas Blaszczak seeing action in relief.

Seth Frantz led Marion at the plate in the victory, finishing 4-for-4 with a double, a run scored and two RBI.  Francisco Ramirez doubled in one of his three hits with two RBI and scoring once.

Hayden Markfort, Logan Ivey, Brinson Carpenter, and Riley Friend each had two hits for the Tigers. Carpenter hit a homerun, scored twice, and recorded two RBI.

Also getting hits for MMI were Dylan Lewkutz (1-for-4, 3R, 2RBI), and Haldyn Williams (1-for-4, R, BB, 2RBI).
