ACCC Women's Runner of the Year - Savannah Olyniec

Hanceville, AL. - Freshman cross country runner, Savannah Olyniec, claimed the 2018 ACCC Individual Conference Championship Saturday morning.  Her time of 19:50.9 was good enough to beat out Wallace State's Jacqueline Serrano (19:53.60) to claim the title and be named the ACCC Women's Runner of the Year.  

The MMI women's team, behind all-region runners Olyniec and sophomore Teresa Gaspar Herrera, are the Alabama Community College Conference Cross Country Runner-ups for 2018.  Rounding out this year's team is Linh Tang, Samika Lewis, Jada Batiste, and Rosa Dominguez-Cortez.
