Women's Cross Country - ACCC Champions!

Hanceville, AL. - The MMI women's cross country team captured the 2017 Alabama Community College Conference championship Saturday afternoon, defeating Wallace State Community College 26 to 30.  Marion was led by freshman Teresa Gaspar Herrera, the 2017 ACCC Women's Runner of the Year, as she completed the tough 5k race with a time of 21:40.74. 

Top eight runners in the event earned ACCC All-Region honors.  MMI was represented by Amelia Krause (3rd), Hannah Maynard (6th), and Jada Batiste (7th).
