Women Compete in First XC Invitational

Mobile, AL. - The MMI women's cross country team competed in their first meet this past weekend at the Azalea Classic, hosted by the University of South Alabama.  Teresa Gaspar Herrera was Marion's lone Top 20 female runner, finishing her 5k in 20:45.2.  Amelia Krause (22:25.4), Hannah Maynard (23:52), Jada Batiste (25:27.4), and Rosa Dominguez-Cortez (27:17) rounded out the field for the Lady Tigers.

The squad will travel to the University of Montevallo for their next meet this Saturday.  The Falcon Classic will start at 8:00 a.m.
