Women’s Tennis Subdues Snead State, 7-2

Marion, AL—The Lady Tigers of Marion Military Institute dropped the Lady Parsons of Snead State Community College, 7-2, at the Paul B. Anderson Tennis Complex on Saturday afternoon.  MMI's Ksenia Vasilyev and Kathryn Risner combined to take the No. 1 doubles point, 8-5, and then contributed two singles points by claiming the No. 1 singles point (6-2, 6-1) and the No. 4 singles point (6-0, 6-2).  Kitty Greenwalt, MMI's No. 3 player, and Catherine Taylor teamed up for the first time this year at No. 2 doubles and won their match, 8-4.  Greenwalt pushed MMI's point total to five by double-bagelling her opponent.  Gianna Azzaro at No. 5 singles and Shandreika Crocker at No. 4 singles rounded out the scoring for MMI.
