Lady Tigers Blank Lady Sun Chiefs, 9-0

Marion, AL—The Lady Tigers thumped the Lady Sun Chiefs, 9-0, on Thursday afternoon at the Paul B. Anderson Tennis Complex, sweeping singles and doubles play and allowing only three games in nine matches.  It was a dominating performance from first serve to last.

Paola Bou and Morgan Ingram at No. 1 doubles (8-0), Alana Larcombe and Bridget Mayfield at No. 2 doubles (8-1), and Makenzie Ralston and Jordan Berrios at No. 3 doubles (8-0) bolted through their matches.

The singles lineup of Bou, Larcombe, Ingram, Mayfield, Ralston, and Rebecca Lin continued MMI's torrid play, capturing straight-set wins at all spots.

The Lady Tigers are scheduled to play a home match with Snead State Community College on Saturday, Feb. 18.  The match is slated to begin at 1:00 p.m.
