Women’s Tennis Leads Sports Teams in GPA

The MMI Women's Tennis Team finished the 2014-15 academic year with the highest team GPA at 3.346, and will be nominated for an NJCAA All-Academic Team this summer. 

The Lady Tigers' softball team finished second among the scholarship programs at 3.2695, followed by baseball (3.05), men's basketball (2.865), and men's tennis (2.6221).  Softball and baseball have also been nominated for the NJCAA All-Academic Team Award. To be eligible for this award, an NJCAA team must finish the academic year with a minimum grade point average of 3.00. 

The overall GPA of the MMI student-athletes this year has eclipsed the 3.00 mark for the first time in several years.  The overall GPA for 2014-15 was calculated at 3.03.  Congratulations to the MMI coaches and student-athletes for all their hard work this past year!
