Marion, AL—Coming off a spectacular fall season, freshman sensation Carlee Conway will lead the Lady Tigers' tennis team on the courts this spring.  Conway is the first Lady Tiger since Rachel Rossi in 2009 to win both the USTA/ITA Southern Regional JUCO Singles and Doubles Championships.  Conway teamed with sophomore Maria Cespedes to take the Southern Regional JUCO Doubles crown.

Conway strolled through the USTA/ITA Southern Regional JUCO Singles Championship with three straight 6-0, 6-0 drubbings before defeating Cespedes in the finals, 6-2, 6-2. Conway and Cespedes then downed a Meridian Community College pair to take the doubles title, 8-4.

Because of their splendid play in singles and doubles, both players were ranked in the 2014-2015 Pre-Season Division I Junior/Community Colleges Women's Singles and Doubles Rankings.  Conway received a #12 ranking in singles, while Cespedes came in at #37.  In doubles, the MMI duo claimed the #14 slot.
