Softball Drops First ACCC DH to Bishop State

Mobile, AL. – The Lady Tigers dropped their first ACCC doubleheader on the road at Bishop State Community College.  They will travel to Enterprise State Community College, Thursday, April 4 to start their next four-game series.

Game 1: MMI 11 BSCC 12

Karlee Pierson was the only player to record multiple hits in game one, finished 3-for-5 with four RBI and a run scored.  Also getting hits for MMI was Emily Mackin (1-for-5, 2R, SB), Alexandra Erwin (1-for-1, 2R, 2RBI, 3BB, HR), Krislin Estes (1-for-4, R, HR, 4RBI), Jaqulyn Braswell (1-for-4, R), and Addison Jennings (1-for-3, R, 2B).

Jaylee Crow took the loss in the circle for Marion after Maia Harris, Ashley Maddox, Gracyn Clifton, and Katelyn Rhodes all saw action.

Game 2: MMI 3 BSCC 9

MMI scattered three hits in the game two loss with Alexandra Erwin, Karlee Pierson, and Krislin Estes each getting one.  Estes had a double, earning all three RBI.  Taylor Bailey took the loss with Michaela Otts and Gracyn Clifton seeing action.
