Tigers Drop DH to CACC

Marion, AL. - The MMI softball team lost two close games to Central Alabama Community College Tuesday afternoon in ACCC North action.  CACC took game one 1-0 after scoring the games only run in the sixth inning. 

Game two saw Marion take an early 1-0 lead after the first inning but CACC was able to produce a run in the second inning to tie the game.  CACC added two more runs to take a 3-1 advantage going into MMI's last at bat.  Marion scored one run to cut the lead to 3-2 but couldn't complete the comeback.  The loss drops Marion's record to 20-19 overall, 3-5 in the ACCC North.

The Lady Tigers will host Bevill State CC Thursday afternoon for another ACCC North doubleheader.  First pitch is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
