Softball Drops Doubleheader to East Central CC

The MMI softball team couldn't get their bats going Thursday afternoon as they dropped a doubleheader to East Central Community College, 7-0, and 4-1.

The Lady Tigers (8-12) will travel to Meridian, Mississippi Friday and Saturday to participate in the Rush Invitational.  Friday's schedule has them playing against the host school, Meridian CC, at 11:00 a.m. and then Baton Rouge CC at 1:00 p.m.  Saturday they will face Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College at 11:00 a.m.
