MMI Softball to Host Fall Pitching and Hitting Clinic

Marion, AL – The Marion Military softball team will be holding a September hitting and pitching clinic helping players in grades 9-12 raise the level of their play.

The Offensive Workout sessions, players will receive extensive hitting instruction in mechanics, hitting to all fields, bunting and short-game strategy.

The Pitching Workout sessions are recommended for pitchers who have control of their movement pitches and seek further development in transitioning to the college level. Pitchers will learn effective and efficient warm up, how to execute their pitches to college hitters, how to improve spin and pitch deception, and how to develop the endurance that is needed for college level workouts.

Spaces are still available but filling up quickly. Each camp is limited to a maximum of 15 campers per session and it is strongly recommended that in the pitching session that each camper brings someone to catch.

The registration deadline is Monday, Sept 8, 2015. For those who register for both an offensive and pitching session there is a $5 discount.

All Marion Military Camps and Clinics are open to any and all entrants – and are only limited by the number, age, grade level or gender described.
