Four Softball Players Earn All Conference

Kennedy Harrison (Sophomore SS, Rowlett TX), Hayden Short (Freshman 2B, Cullman AL), Sharayah Simco (Freshman DP, Furnace PA), and Emily Tarango (Sophomore OF, Cedar Creek TX) were named to the ACCC All-Conference 2nd team for the 2015 season.

Harrison had the second best batting average for the Lady Tigers with .314.  She led the team in doubles (15), finished second with hits (54), and had twenty-six RBIs, for third best.  In 172 at-bats, Harrison only struck out eight times.  She also had sixty-seven putouts and was second on the team with assists (104).

Short ranked 14th in the conference with homeruns (8), which also was the team leader.  She batted .302 for the Lady Tigers, led the team in walks (25), ranked second on the team with doubles (13), and was hit by pitch eighteen times.  She also led the team in slugging percentage (.589) and on base percentage (.477). 

Simco lead the team in hit by pitches (28)  and was second with on-base percentage (.469).  She batted .233 with three doubles and 13 RBI's.

Tarango led the team in triples (2), and was fourth best in doubles (6).  She had forty-five hits while batting .281; was walked fifteen times and chipped in two stolen bases.  Tarango had 106 putouts in left field and also had two outfield assists.
