Records Break for Men's XC at Warhawk Invitational

Danville, AL. – The MMI men's cross country team committed the last two weekends to hard training, and it showed at the Warhawk Invitational, hosted by Calhoun Community College, last Friday afternoon.  "This was one of the best days we've had as a team," stated head coach Chad Balentine. "Following two weekends off to train through, it was a day filled with gritty hard sprints to the finish line, lots of PR's, and an amazing effort from top to bottom.  I couldn't have been prouder of the way we competed today."

Freshmen Peter Paccassi (26:27), Sam Myers (26:55), and Thomas Burch (27:09) finished 2nd, 6th, and 7th respectively, pacing the Tigers to a 3rd place team finish.  They were followed by Parker Hicks (27:54), Abubakr Jallow (28:32), Ben Stewart (28:56), Michael Cody (29:12), Jeremy Garcia (29:16), Nelson Troy (29:45), Amarion Booker (30:37), Barrett Draiss (31:24), Joshua Gaffney (31:52), Joshua Romero (32:47), Tyler Druskoff (34:52), and Jacob Hilb (35:03).
