Branicki and Tanjuatco Named 2020 ITA NJCAA Men’s Doubles All-Americans

Tempe, AZ—Marion Military Institute men's tennis players Andrew Branicki and Joseph Tanjuatco were named Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) NJCAA Doubles All-Americans recently.  The ITA's sole criterion for this prestigious honor is to "finish in the top five doubles teams of the final Oracle/ITA national rankings."  Branicki and Tanjuatco claimed the fifth spot in the COVID-19 pandemic-shortened season.

Branicki and Tanjuatco are the first players in the history of the men's tennis program to garner All-American recognition for MMI.  In 2017, Paola Bou was the first MMI player (male or female) to achieve All-American status when she finished #6 in the nation in women's singles.
