Tigers Drop First Game at Itawamba CC

Fulton, MS. - The MMI Tigers lost their first game of the 23-24 season at Itawamba Community College yesterday evening, 74-90, after falling behind 32-47 at halftime.

Nicholas Cham led MMI with 21 points while dishing out six assists.  Jahmar Brown matched Cham's assists with six while adding 10 points.  Tyrone Wright recorded his first double-double of the season; 20 points and a team high 11 rebounds.

Also scoring for Marion was Isaiah Green (11), Aidan Driggers (5), Johnathon Crawford (3), Julian Whitfield (3), and Jamarion Ezell (1).

MMI (3-1) will travel to Gadsden State Community College (4-0) this Friday, November 10, for a 6:00 p.m. tip-off
