Basketball's Oakley Receives University of Alabama Presidential Scholarship

MMI basketball player, Carey "Pate" Oakley, was announced today as the recipient of the University of Alabama's Presidential Scholarship.

The Presidential Scholarship is awarded to an outstanding student transferring to the University of Alabama from MMI.    The scholarship places high value on academic excellence and community engagement and its current value is estimated at $29,940; to cover four semesters.  Pate's cumulative GPA is 3.938
