Marion's Tripp Named NJCAA Honorable Mention All-American
Charles Tripp, a 6'8" sophomore forward, was recently named to the 2017 NJCAA Honorable Mention All-American Team. The coaches in the ACCC North League voted him the Alabama Community College Conference's North Player of the Year and First Team All-Region.
Tripp, who recently signed to play at the University of West Alabama, scored 13.9 points per game for the Tigers this year with 7.2 rebounds. He helped Marion to a 19-8 overall record; 6-6 in the ACCC North league.
