Tigers Fall to Lawson State in Overtime

The MMI Tigers dropped the final regular season game to Lawson State Community College, 88-85, in overtime.  Charles Tripp led Marion with 20 points. 

Neiman Dunams came one assist shy of a triple-double; 18 points, 11 rebounds, and 9 assists.  Quamauri Hardy added 17 points.  Treyvon Francis dished out five assists with 11 points.  Carlos Bell added another double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

The loss dropped MMI to 19-7 overall and 6-6 in the ACCC North.  Marion, the 5th seed in the ACCC North will travel to Chattahoochee Valley CC, the 4th seed in the ACCC South this Saturday.  The winner of that game will advance to the quarterfinals of the ACCC Tournament held at Lawson State CC in Birmingham.  The time of Saturday's game is still to be determined.
