Tigers Rebound with win at Wallace-Hanceville

The MMI men's basketball team went on the road last night and came away with a big win in the ACCC North, defeating the Wallace State Community College Lions 62-40.  Marion held a 33-21 lead at halftime.

Freshman Carlos Bell led Marion with 14 points and six rebounds.  Charles Tripp finished with 10 points and eight rebounds.  Quamauri Hardy added eight points and eight assists for the Tigers, now 19-6 overall, 6-5 in the ACCC North.

With one regular season basketball game left in the 2016-17 season, the MMI Tigers are looking to secure a home play-in game in the first round of the ACCC Tournament.  Marion will host Lawson State Community College Monday, February 27, at 7:00 p.m. in the William R. Ireland Athletic Center.
