Basketball Drops First ACCC North Game at Shelton State

The MMI men's basketball team dropped their first ACCC North game at Shelton State Community College last night, 77-74.  Charles Tripp, Mikel Davis, and John Clayton each scored 15 points for the Tigers, now 14-2 on the season and 2-1 in the ACCC North.  Tripp added 10 rebounds while Davis grabbed five boards and Clayton seven.  Quamauri Hardy finished with 12 points and two assists, and Carlos Bell rounded out the double digit scorers with 10 points. 

Marion will be back in action Thursday night when they travel to Boaz, Alabama to take on the Snead State CC Parsons in another ACCC North battle.
