Tigers Down Bishop State, Now 9-1
With four players scoring in double figures, the Marion Military Institute men's basketball team pulled away in the second half to down Bishop State Community College 80-65.
Quamauri Hardy led Marion's offensive attack with 18 points. He also dished out 3 assists with 3 rebounds. Carlos Bell finished with a double-double; 15 points and 12 rebounds. Neiman Dunams and Charles Tripp each scored 13 points. Dunams added 3 steals and 3 assists while Tripp grabbed 6 rebounds in the win.
Rounding out the scoring for Marion, now 9-1 on the season: Treyvon Francis (7), Michael Nobles (6), Mikel Davis (4), and Antony Edwards (4).
The Tigers will host Lurleen B. Wallace Community College Saturday, December 10. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. in the William R. Ireland Athletic Center. Admission to the game is FREE WITH ONE (1) CANNED/NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEM.
