Tigers Win in Overtime

Enterprise, AL. - Down 51-43 at halftime, the MMI Tigers clawed their way back in the second half against ACCC South foe, Enterprise State CC, to send the game into overtime.  Marion was able to pull away in the extra period and claim their seventh win, 101-93.

Freshman Carlos Bell led the offensive attack for MMI with 26 points.  He also grabbed five rebounds.  Sophomore Quamauri Hardy finished with 20 points, five rebounds, four assists, and three steals.

Treyvon Francis scored 16 points with six rebounds while dishing out four assists for Marion, now 7-1 on the season.  Mikel Davis added 12 points with 7 rebounds and Charles Tripp finished with 10 points and six rebounds.

Marion will travel to Brewton, Alabama this Saturday for a re-match with Jeff Davis CC.  Tip-off is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
