Tigers Defeat Maxwell AFB in Home Scrimmage

In the first home scrimmage of the 2016-17 season, the MMI Tigers defeated Maxwell Air Force 106-64.  Marion held a 54-24 lead at halftime.

Four players finished scoring in double figures for Marion. Charles Tripp led all scorers with 23 points.  Quamauri Hardy had 15 points while Carlos Bell and Antony Edwards each added 10 points. 

Rounding out the scoring for the Tigers - John Clayton (8), Tyquarious Arnold (8), Pate Oakley (7), Neiman Dunams (7), Mikel Davis (6), Treyvon Francis (6), David Watkins (4), and Michael Nobles (2).

Marion will travel to Livingston, Alabama to take on the University of West Alabama for their final preseason scrimmage on Saturday, October 29.  Tip-off is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
