Patriots Hand Tigers Second Loss, Drop to 5-2

Marion, AL. - The Patriots from Wallace State Community College outplayed the MMI Tigers Monday evening, handing the home squad their second loss of the season.  Marion held a small lead early in the first half but Wallace fought back to take a three-point lead into halftime.

The Patriots continued their aggressive style of play throughout the second half and built the lead to 12 points at the 10:54 mark.  Marion clawed their way back and had Wallace on the ropes, down two points with 15 seconds to play.  Back-to-back turnovers for the Tigers proved costly and gave WSCC the 69-65 victory.  The loss dropped MMI to 5-2 on the season.

Christian Bradford led Marion with 25 points.  Ronnie Baylark (16) and Miles Perdue (10) also finished in double figures for the Tigers.

The Tigers will hit the road for two games before leaving for Thanksgiving break.  Marion will face Enterprise State Community College Thursday evening and Jeff Davis Community College Saturday afternoon.
