Tigers Drop First Game on the Road
Tuscaloosa, AL. - The MMI men's basketball team dropped their first game of the season on the road against the Stillman College junior varsity team, 72-58. Marion held a two-point lead at halftime.
Ronnie Baylark scored 17 points to lead MMI while grabbing a team high seven rebounds. Christian Bradford (14) and Michael Nobles (10) also scored in double figures for the Tigers, now 3-1 on the season.
Chase Garvin (6), Miles Perdue (4), Quamauri Hardy (4), Anthony Pierre-Louis (2), and Charles Tripp (1) rounded out the scorers for Marion.
The Tigers will try to get back on track at home Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. when they host Point University's junior varsity squad.
