Tigers Fall to Southern Union at Home

Marion, AL. - Southern Union State Community College defeated the MMI Tigers in ACCC North men's basketball action Tuesday evening by a score of 85 to 66.  Bison guards, Devin Pugh and Markeise Champion, were on fire from behind the arc to help the Bisons build an eleven point lead into halftime.  SUSCC shot 55.6% from behind the arc for the game (15-for-27).

Marion has struggled in their first two ACCC North games and was looking to get back on track on their home court.  Leading Marion was Ronnie Baylark, Jr. with 14 points.  Jamareo Duggan scored 12 pts and pulled down a team high nine rebounds.  Miles Perdue and Malik Musgrove each finished with 10 points.  Perdue also grabbed six rebounds in the loss.

The Tigers (0-3, 7-10) will look to secure their first conference win when they host Lawson State Community College Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m.at the William R. Ireland Athletic Center.
