Three-game Win Streak Ends at Home

Marion, AL. - Riding a three-game win streak, the MMI men's basketball team hosted the Bishop State Community College Wildcats Tuesday evening in ACCC North/South action.  Taking a 35-28 lead into halftime, it looked like the Tigers would extend that winning streak to four games.

Bishop State fought and scrapped their way back early in the second half and eventually took the lead on several Marion miscues.  The Tigers could never make a run at the Wildcats and took the 69-62 loss on their home floor.

Christian Bradford led Marion in scoring with 14 points.  Ronnie Baylark, Jr. and Charles Steele, Jr. each constributed with 11 points apiece.  Steele, Bradford, Miles Perdue, and Dotson Griffin, Jr. each grabbed three rebounds in the loss.

Marion will host Meridian Community College Saturday with a 3:30 p.m. tip-off scheduled.
