Tigers Defeat Wallace CC-Selma in Rematch

Marion, AL. – Behind the scoring of freshman Jamareo Duggan, the MMI Tigers defeated the Wallace Community College Patriots, 75-57, Tuesday evening.  Both teams came out slow on offense with the game remaining scoreless through three minutes of play.  That pace continued and at the 16:16 mark both teams were tied at just two points apiece.  Marion put together a small run midway through the first half and took a 34-30 lead into halftime.

The Tigers' attack mode continued early in the second half as they were able to build upon the lead, pushing it to double digits with over fourteen minutes to play in the game.  The Patriots fought back to within three but Marion was able to extend their lead to double digits once again and earn the victory.
