Lane Dickerson Named Assistant Basbeall Coach/Pitching Coach

Marion, AL. – Lane Dickerson, MMI Class of 2018, has returned to Marion to become the assistant baseball coach/pitching coach, effectively immediately.  "We are excited to have Lane back on campus and think he will do a great job for us," said Director of Athletics, Michelle Ivey.  "Lane has the experience of pitching at both junior college and NCAA Division I levels, and I think that will work in our favor as he looks to develop the pitching staff here at Marion."

Lane started his coaching career at nationally ranked John A. Logan College, as he worked with the pitching staff for two seasons under head coach Patrick Morey.  He also served as the pitching coach for the Thrillville Thrillbillies of the Prospect League.  Lane's most recent coaching stint was at Northwest Shoals Community College where he was named hitting and infield coach this past August.
