Jackson Cofer Named to All-Tournament Team

The Alabama Community College Conference announced the 2016 postseason baseball awards and sophomore Jackson Cofer (Maylene, AL./Thompson HS) was named to the All-Tournament team.

Going into tournament play, Cofer was hitting .315 with an on-base percentage of .414 and a .469 slugging percentage.  He recorded 41 hits for the Tigers with six doubles, four triples, and two home runs.  Jackson scored 29 runs with 35 RBIs while playing right field most of the time.

Cofer saw limited action on the mound in relief, finishing with 3 saves and a 1-0 record.  He worked 9.1 innings, giving up only five hits and 1 base on balls, while striking out nine opposing batters this spring.
