Tigers Sweep CACC; Take Second in ACCC North Division

The MMI Tigers baseball team finished the regular season with a four-game sweep of Central Alabama Community College.  Marion took the first two games 6-3 and 10-0 before making the trip to Alexander City for the final two games of the regular season.  The Tigers took game one 11-5 and had to come back late in the nightcap to take the 9-5 victory.

With the four wins, Marion finishes the regular season 38-13-1, 18-10 in the ACCC North Division.  For the second straight year the Tigers will take the North's #2 seed into the Alabama Community College Conference Tournament.  They will face Alabama Southern Community College, the South's #3 seed, Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. at Eagle Stadium in Ozark, Alabama.
