Baseball's McGregory and Ratliff sign with Alabama A & M

Marion, AL. - Sophomore baseball players Carson McGregory (Tuscumbia, AL; Deshler HS) and James Ratliff (Clanton, AL; Chilton County HS) signed scholarship papers this morning to play at the University of Alabama A & M next year.

McGregory, a first baseman, played in 49 games as a freshman for head coach Matt Downs.  He hit .376 for the Tigers with 12 doubles, one triple and one homerun.  Carson finished the 2015 season with an on-base percentage of .495 and .496 slugging percentage. 

Ratliff saw action on the mound in relief for Marion as a freshman and averaged over five strikeouts per game.
