Under Michelle's guidance, Marion Military Institute athletics teams, student-athletes and coaches have achieved conference, regional and national recognition for both their academic and athletic achievements.

Michelle currently serves as the Women’s Region Director (Region 22) of the National Junior Collegiate Athletics Association (NJCAA), representing the State of Alabama on both Division II Women’s Volleyball and Division I Softball Sport Committees.  She has been selected to serve on the NJCAA Board of Regents as well the Tiered Sanctions Committee (Vice-Chair) and Appeals Committee.

Her commitment to the Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC) includes serving as Softball Chair as well as managing the conference website and assisting the Conference Commissioner with all region/district tournaments.  The NJCAA recognized her commitment to both the regional and national sanctioning bodies by selecting her as the 2018 recipient of the prestigious George E.
