Kyle Bush Added to Men's Basketball Staff

Marion, AL – Marion Military Institute's head men's basketball coach Timothy Rodgers has announced the hiring of Kyle Bush as an assistant coach with the Tigers.
 
Coach Bush comes to Marion after serving the 2018-19 season as the Lead Assistant Coach at Averett University in Danville, Va.   Prior to his one season at Averett, Kyle served as an assistant coach at the University of Charleston in Charleston, West Virginia. 

In addition to his stints as assistant coaches at the four-year level, Bush gained experience helping coordinate and coach basketball in Scotland. He's also served as a camp counselor at Duke University's basketball camp and was a personal basketball trainer.

Bush played collegiately at NAIA Union College, where he was a two-time conference champion on the Bulldogs' top-10 ranked team. He went on to play and coach in the Scottish National League.

A native of Ashland, Kentucky, Bush graduated from Union in December 2015 with a bachelor's degree in business administration and management.
