End of Year Student-Athlete Awards Announced at Honors Convocation

Marion Military Institute Director of Athletics, Michelle Ivey, presented the following awards at the 2019 Honors Convocation:

Tommy Murfee Award for Outstanding Student-Athlete - David Sweat (baseball) and Lexi McCray (softball)

COL Thomas H. Williams Award (student-athlete that has maintained the highest G.P.A.) - Anna Claire Gresham (softball)

Judge Irby Pope Award for Sportsmanship - Josue Passius (men's basketball)

John C. Moore Award for Excellence in Athletics and Academics - Nicholas Abbinanti (men's cross country) and Morgan Gaither (softball)
