Cross Country Teams Run Last Regular Season Race

Montevallo, AL. - The MMI men's and women's cross country teams competed in their last regular season race, the UAB Classic, hosted by the University of Montevallo.  Sophomore Nicholas Abbinanti III once again led the men's team in the 8k race with a 26:51 time.  He was followed by Cameron Covington (28:07), James LaGrone (28:26), Kendall England (28:53), Adrian Lopez (29:49), Andres Santiago (33:07), Raul Martinez (36:09), and Long Wong (37:22).

In the 6k women's race, Marion was paced by Savannah Olyniec with a 23:55 finish.  She was followed by Teresa Gaspar Herrera (25:57), Linh Tang (28:25), Samika Lewis (29:45), Jada Batiste (30:39), and Rosa Dominguez-Cortez (37:25).

MMI will compete in the Alabama Community College Conference meet Saturday, October 27, on the campus of Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, Alabama.
