Baseball and Softball Open Spring Season on the Road

The Marion Military Institute spring 2018 baseball and softball seasons open today on the road.  The baseball team travels to Coastal Alabama Community College-East for a doubleheader with the first pitch scheduled for 12:00 p.m.  The Tigers will then travel to Mobile, Alabama next week, Tuesday and Wednesday, for games against Bishop State Community College and Springhill College before hosting Wallace Community College-Selma and West Georgia Technical College on Saturday, February 10.  The first home game is scheduled to start at 9:00 a.m.

The Lady Tigers softball team traveled to Copiah Lincoln Community College for the weekend to open the 2018 spring season.  They will face Baton Rouge Community College at 2:00 p.m. this afternoon and the host school, Copiah Lincoln, at 4:00 p.m.  Tomorrow they will round out their trip with a doubleheader against Copiah Lincoln with game one scheduled to start at 11:00 a.m.  They will return home Tuesday, February 6th, for a home doubleheader against East Mississippi Community College.  Game one will start at 1:00 p.m. on Soldier Field.
