Search Committee to Meet This Week for Golf and Cross Country Positions

Marion, AL. - MMI's athletic director, Michelle Ivey, will chair the search committees for two new positions within the athletic department - men's and women's golf coach/golf course manager and men's and women's cross country coach/assistant athletic director.

The committees will start looking at applications this week and make recommendations for the interview process.  "It is an exciting time for Marion Military Institute as we look to expand our athletic programs.  We have assembled two great search committees that will assist in the hiring process.  We have enjoyed a lot of success in recent years, both athletically and academically, and look forward to this expansion," said Ivey. "The intent is to have both of these positions filled this summer which will give the new coaches a year to prepare for competition starting in fall 2017."
