Christian Bradford Wins Tommy Murfee Award for Outstanding Student-Athlete
The Tommy Murfee Award for Outstanding Student-Athlete is presented to the student-athlete who has excelled at his or her sport. This year's recipient, Christian Bradford, was selected 1st Team All-North Division as well as 1st Team All-Region for men's basketball. He was named the Alabama Community College Conference Tournament MVP and an NJCAA Honorable Mention All-American. Bradford was also selected by the National Basketball Coaches Association to participate in the NJCAA All-Star Men's Basketball game in Las Vegas, NV.
His leadership and skill on the court helped the men's basketball team earn a #2 seed in the Alabama Community College Conference Tournament and their 1st ACCC Conference title in 50 years. Christian has signed a scholarship to play basketball with Radford University
